AH Portfolio Startup Wholeleaf, Driving Growth in Chronic Pain Management with Cannabinoid-based Therapeutics, has secured INR 3 Crore in its 4 Cr Funding Round from ah! Ventures Angel Platform and other investors. ah! Ventures has done 242 investments in 139 startups till date taking its total investment portfolio to INR 461 CR (~57 MN USD) with 17 exits and 57 follow on rounds. 43 investments have happened through all three platforms and the fund in 2024.
This round is focused on fueling Wholeleaf’s expansion efforts, bolstering its D2C and prescription channels and scaling clinical trials and product development.
India’s pain management market stands at USD 2 billion, with a critical unmet need in the chronic pain management segment. Both the medical fraternity and patient community have recognized a pressing gap for long-term, effective and safe alternatives to conventional pain medications, which often pose serious side effects.
Wholeleaf is bridging this gap with its clinically validated, cannabinoid-based formulations that offer lasting relief without the harsh side effects, positioning the brand as a trusted alternative in the pain therapeutics landscape.
